In June of 2019 I had the opportunity to work on this piece at the Illustration Master Class, hosted each year in Amherst Massachusetts. There, under the tutelage of world-renowned artists like Greg Manchess, Donato Giancola, and Boris Vallejo, was able to really sink my teeth into a large studio work. They pushed me to explore brushwork and color and composition in ways that I’m still attempting to process.

Learning Process, Bear’s Den is an original oil painting on stretched canvas. The dimensions of the image are 40”x30"” It is gallery-framed with simple black wood, and can be re-framed as desired at the shop of your choice.
